Winemaker Notes

This bright crisp Sauvignon Blanc shows lemon tart and guava on the palate, the mouthfeel has a roundness and weightiness from aging sur lie. The finish is refreshing with racy acidity that goes well on its own but is especially complimented with food.

Other Notes

Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from a small vineyard nestled in Southern Dry Creek Valley. These 20 year old vines are the musque clone which is known for adding luscious tropical and floral components. Everything the winemaking team did in the cellar was aimed at preserving these amazing delicate aromas. The fruit was picked first thing in the morning and then went directly to press cold and whole cluster. After a long cool fermentation, it was aged on the lees to bring weight and complexity to the mid palate. All this gentle handling succeeded in preserving the musque qualities of this complex Sauvignon Blanc.
